<p>I’ll probably end up applying to Brown for the PLME. I’m just curious about something… I know somebody who graduated from Brown Medical school a lot of years ago. Since that makes him an alum (of BMS at least) is it possible for him to throw in a word about me to the adcoms or something of the sort?</p>
<p>He could, but unless its really going to say something about YOU, or unless he's a close relative or big donor, its not going to do anything and will likely annoy them more than help you.</p>
