Question.

How hard is it to change majors/transfer schools if you've already been accepted into one specific school and change your mind?

That depends on where you’re transferring to/from.

i am curious to the answer of this question too… i was accepted in economics which is in the college of social sciences and humanities… would it be hard for me to change my major into the business school?

It’s easiest to switch into college of arts and sciences as there are almost always spots in those majors. Business is difficult to transfer into and getting into Bouve is next to impossible. If you want to switch, contact the school and do it asap.

Well, I am not positive with what I want to study, but I know that whatever I want to do is in the College of Arts & Sciences… The only problem is that they divided the College of Arts & Sciences into The College of Sciences, The College of Arts, Media and Design, and The College of Social Sciences and Humanities.

I got accepted into the College of Sciences, but I either want to be in the College of Arts, Media and Design, or The College of Social Sciences and Humanities.

I guess I should just contact the school?

^I don’t think it should be too difficult to transfer between those. And I think there’s gonna be quite a bit of confusion now that they’ve split it up too. It’s gonna be a transition year.

Okay, yeah that’s true. Thank you so much!

yeah, both the split CAS colleges are essentially interchangeable. They’re going to be run the same way for a while, at least as far as I can tell.

if i try to transfer into the business school now but then get denied… will i be rejected from the university completely?
