<p>I'm a junior with a 2.8 gpa and I expect to get it up to a 2.9, maybe even a little higher, by the end of the semester. I live in Indiana and plan on visiting colleges soon. I'll be visiting Ball state in a few weeks. I would like to be able to plan a few more visits to other colleges toward the end of May/ beginning of June. At first I thought about visiting IU but now I'm not even sure it would be worth it considering my chances there aren't good. </p>

<p>Worth it?? If not, where else should I be looking?</p>

<p>Your GPA does present a challenge but doesn’t completely disqualify you from IU. What I would do is go ahead and apply there and if you’re accepted, then visit before you make your final decision next year.</p>
