<p>If I were to major in business in college would it be better to take calculus in high school? I am trying to decide whether I should take Calc or AP stats this year. Which one would be more beneficial?</p>
<p>If you’re interested in Ross they require you take Calc 1 freshman year, but AP credit can fulfill that requirement.</p>

<p>Calculus hands down. Not for the fact that it will better prepare you for a business education (it will probably do very little in that respect), but it will look better on your college application (all else equal).</p>
<p>I would take calc not for how it looks on your application or for your major because you will take it no matter if its in college or hs. Your hs calc class will be much easier than calc I or II at U of M. It will be one less class that could potentially lower your first year gpa.</p>
