Hey, I'm a student at Clemson and I'm looking into ways to get our student body more involved and enthusiastic about soccer.

I was looking at the NCAA attendance numbers from last year and couldn't notice your amazing numbers for soccer games. Is there a secret to getting all those people there? How do you manage to get all those people (I'm assuming a good bit are students) in the stands? Is there any reason other than the fact that they win? haha

Thanks in advance for any responses!

I’m a student here at Creighton and I attend a few soccer games every year. There are several reasons why we have such high attendance. Our school does not have a football team, so soccer kind of fills the gap and gets more attention because of this lack of football. We do tend to be ranked almost every year. Who doesn’t want to support a good team? We also have an amazing soccer stadium as far as college soccer goes. It is a soccer specific stadium and is quite new (I think it was built in the early 2000’s). Lastly, our school has a few cook outs and homecoming based around soccer games (again because of the lack of football).

yea, we are ranked high and we make the final four pretty often.

having said that, our basketball games are way more fun =P
