questioning a grade

do people do it? what are the chances of it getting changed?
i would be asking my TA b/c she did all the grading

silly rabbit, trix are for kids

but ummm, i tried to change mine and the prof and TA found some way of saying no...unless you know like an OBVIOUS error they've made....like taking 70 points off ur grade for no reason at all

agreed. likely not going to happen, ESPECIALLY in a south campus class.

north campus grading MIGHT be viewed as a little more subjective (essays) which may get a second look.

it never hurts to ask.

btw its a philosophy class

possible. i just caught a mistake in my math grade and emailed my prof. he said it was indeed a clerical error and will work on fixing it.

bannana thats an understandable mistake that should get corrected especially if itll mean a difference in your grade, but if you want to contest a grade based on how it was graded, itll prob be very difficult since by the time you know your grade, it will have been final and so itll have to go through the prof as well as registrar which is really difficult but not impossible since most dont want to go through the hassle so theyll shoot you down from the beginning by saying final grades are nonnegotiable like they did in 2 of my classes this quarter
