<p>Hi, I hope you could help me with the following question !</p>

<p>I am an international student and majoring in ENG !
concerning math placement!:::::1/Our curriculum in my country in my senior year covers 95% of Calc I and like 40-50 % of Calc II: Should I take MAt104 to refresh that 40% and have a solid education in the 60% left ? Or try to learn it by summer and jump to multivariable ?(0 Ap credits, though)
2/EMP : is it only available for the fall term and do I have to place into multivariable to get in ?
3/When preparing for the SAT physics(almost 8 hours overall :p) I found out that our curriculum covers like 70% of the material tested :No thermodynamics and no APPLICATIONS like the ones I knew abt in Sparknotes : it is purely theoretical and shallow : I did manage to get a 770 but I am not sure I still remember what I read during those 8 hours :p ! Where does the material tested in SAT II place in physics ? and what should I do ?</p>

Based on the background you provide, I think MAT 104 sounds right. Rather than trying to teach yourself the material, it’s probably better to wait and see what Princeton will expect you to know and how well you should know it. Also, it’s probably an excellent idea to speak to the math placement adviser when you get to campus to make sure you’re taking the right class. EMP is designed for engineers who place into MAT 201, and it is offered only in the fall. You’ll place into PHY 103 with most of the other freshman engineers.</p>
