I apply to Gettysburg and want to study engineering. I know that Gettyburg has a special engineering program with Columbia U, RPI and WashU in St Louis. However, there is much information about this on the website. So who can tell me something about it? It may decide my final choice.

Thanks so much.

You spend the first two years at Gettysburg then head over to the participating Engineering institution for the third year. Then you again come back for the 4th year to graduate with your class and then spend one more, final, year at the Engineering institution.

You have to apply separately to the Engineering institution after you goto Burg. And Burg will not extend its aid whatsoever to the engg. institution. So if aid is a problem I would suggest getting a physics degree and then doing a Masters in Engg.

Good Luck!

That's not good to me.

There is another way to get dual-degree, just like you indicated. It takes 6 years, right?
