Questions about a failing grade?

okay well im a junior and i got a D in precalculus so i'm making it up right now in a community college. the problem is i think i'm not passing again.. does my grade at the community college go on on my high school transcript? and if it does do i have to make up the class in the cc one too? thank yoyu.

I think it depends on your school. I know my school does not give any credits to classes taken at community colleges, but there are some that do. Just go ask your guidance counselor.

I knew you were going to say something like that eventually, smcnair21. I was just waiting for the ball to drop.

i got a C in ap calc BC first semester, and i'm probably going to get a C- or a D+ this semester. but i'm not retaking it, since anything D- and higher is passing at my school :D

Hahahhahah. Kernz, that's gotta hurt. What made you say that, sunshineyday?

Well I knew it was going to be said eventually and, I ask you, who better to drop the bomb than smcnair21?

No, but it seemed like you were expecting a rude comment, specifically from smcnair. Has there been any posts in the past from him that has made you think that he's disrespectful? It's no big deal. I'm just curious. Do you live in Bridgeport, because he and I always make fun of B-Port. If you do, I'm actually sorry.

Haha, no I don't live in Bridgeport.
And yes he does make rude comments all the time. But not towards me. Sometimes they're funny and I laugh with him. Sometimes they're funny and I laugh at him.

Okay. I'm a fan of rude comments too. We really f*** around with this forum. You should look at smcnair and my posts. They're are pretty un-cc esque.

I thought only an E or F was failing? Anywho, your counselor will tell you whether or not it goes on your transcript. If you're not planning on taking Calc then I wouldn't retake it.

Haha, I'll make sure to check those out.

I'll make sure to look especially for the Bridgeport ones.

Are you from Connecticut? Because it is difficult to truly visualize how hard the Port is, unless one has experienced it.

Hmmm, no, I'm not a Connecticut inhabiter or native. Maybe I won't understand them.

No, I wad kidding. You'll understand them. It's not like they're deep or philosophical. I'm no Eye In Stu Ert, yano?

well my counselor's like really dumb so i cant trust her with any kind of information. at my school a D is considered passing but since im planning on going to a UC, i have to take it over.
