Questions About AdCom Understanding My Essay Topic

<p>So my essay is about the iPhone app Angry Birds, (I'll leave it at that because I'm paranoid my idea could be stolen :P) and I've gotten positive feedback from everyone except my English Lit teacher. Why? Because he had no idea what Angry Birds was. </p>

<p>My questions are if the person reading my essay doesn't know what Angry Birds is, am I screwed, and in general what is the procedure if an AdCom has no idea what an essay is about?</p>

<p>I would be careful about choosing something an adcomm might not know anything about. It might take up too much space to explain what Angry Birds is (or maybe even an iPhone, haha) </p>

<p>Maybe you should get a second opinion? your lit prof is probably closer to the age/type of person the adcomm will be. who else gave it positive reviews?</p>
