So don’t know where to post this, but figured this would be a good place to start. I’m currently a junior in high school and I love math and science, especially the study of space. I was thinking that aerospace would be a good choice for a major to fit my interests. So in college (hopefully georgia tech or mit), how challenging and engaging are the classes that are required to become an Aerospace Engineer? What do they focus on? And also, on a day-to-day basis, what is it like being an Aerospace engineer, focused on the astronomical side of things? I want a job that is constantly interesting and always changing. I prefer to do things that are more conceptual problem solving based rather than hands on physical building of rocket systems for example. Where would this fit into aerospace engineering? I’ve read a lot of things online but I’m just hoping to find someone here that could give me a more personalized answer.
