questions about AP Scholar awards

Does collegeboard only award AP scholars at the end of senior year?
or whenever students passed 3,5,8 APs , they'll receive AP scholar ,AP scholar with distinction, national AP scholar accordingly?
Thx

I think it’s in the fall but check the website to be sure.

I got an AP scholar award before exams my senior year, so I think it is the latter.

collegeboard rewards ap scholar awards after you have taken the exams in your high school. For example, if you have taken three ap exams overall by sophomore year and received all 4s, then you will get the AP scholar award as a junior.

College Board usually sends out the announcements in the early fall (late Sept/early Oct). If, for example, you scored at least a “3” on three APs by the end of your junior year, your would receive your recognition in the fall of your senior year. Additional AP distinctions earned through AP exams in your senior year would be awarded the next fall (after you graduate). I assume that 3 successful AP’s by the end of the 10th grade would earn an award in the fall of the junior year.

I got my award with my scores the july before my senior year.

Thank you everyone!!!

If I recall correctly, my S got his AP Scholar Award (for three AP classes sophomore) ANNOUNCEMENT around July but got the actual certificate for same sometime in September/October.
