How can I include my AP scores on the app? I know they aren't required, but I think my scores would help me. Is there a way I can do this?

Who reads the apps? Are they sent to UM, or regional admissions officers (not that this is a huge issue, I was just curious, so that I know how well to describe where I live for one of my essays).

Also, are the subject tests automatically sent with the reasoning scores, even though they aren't required? Are they only used if they help you?

haha vc08 I thought you were a student at UM because of all your posts in the chances threads, it seemed like you knew a lot about the UM admissions process.

You could ask your counselor to include a note showing your AP marks when sending in the transcript.

I think the apps are first read by a regional admissions officer and then passed along to other people in the admissions office before a final decision is made.

And UM doesn't use SAT 2s for admissions but they will certaintly look at it. So I don't think it is a huge deal although if your SAT 2s are in the low to mid 600s it won't look that pretty. So why not take the 2s again besides aren't you applying to other schools that require SAT 2s?

Anyways I hope everything goes well for you, good luck!!

ha, well, hopefully soon I'll be a student there :) Also, thanks for the advice about AP Tests, I think I'll take you up on it. Also, I did take SAT IIs and did alright on them, I just wasn't sure if I had to send them seperately, or if they were sent together (didn't know if I had to pay twice, etc.). As far as taking them again, I don't have room in my testing schedule to do that before I apply (dates in Sept. and Oct. are already filled for me)..anyway, thanks for the input!
