questions about applying to u-mich

does u-mich require a resume? meaning like, do i have to make a separate document and turn it into them?

i'm applying to the early response thing. as long as i get everything in by or on nov. 1st, i'm still considered an early applicant, right?

i heard that WA takes 1-2 weeks to show whether they have all your stuff turned in. based on that, how do i know whether or not i made the early response deadline?

thanks!

No

Yes

Just get everything in and not worry about it showing up on WA! Use the http://umich.custhelp.com/</a> help page to have them verify receipt.

I agree with pk92 but would like to place an * next to the question 1 response.

A resume is not required. Somewhere on the admission web pages it says that they will accept and review supplemental material sent by the applicant. I sent a resume.

would it look better if i sent a resume along as a supplement?

If you have a strong resume then send it.
I sent mine by mail in a large envelope.
I put my UMIN # at the top of each page.

What’s the best way to list summer work experience?

on your resume, just make a section that says “summer work exp.” and then write all your stuff below it. that’s how i’d do it
