Yes, both the November and December sittings of the SAT are acceptable for UC applications.
You can designate the UC as a score recipient when you sign up for the test online or on test day when you bubble in your identifying information.
The UCs will only consider the ACT WITH writing, so sending it without the writing score would be pointless. The December sitting of the ACT is also acceptable for UC admission, so you could schedule it WITH the writing section for UC consideration. As with the SAT, designate a UC as a score recipient when you sign up or when you fill in identifying information on test day.</p>
<p>One other note: If you are applying for Fall 2011 admissions, you must also submit two SAT subject tests in two different areas to be eligible for admission. If you have not completed your subject tests, you should schedule them for the November or December sittings.</p>
