I am not applying this year but two years down the road… Just doing some planning
Can I apply to more than one program at the same college (EX: Wharton Undergraduate regular program and the Wharton Jerome Fisher undergrad program)?
When exactly do people start applying for early decision (Junior Spring. Junior-Senior summer, Senior Fall)?
Generally not, but you can send an E-Mail to schools to verify.
ED apps are usually due in fall of Senior year (based on grades through Junior year). Check each school’s web site for the dates (and when things like scores are due).
When you apply to the University of Pennsylvania (which I did last year) for a program like the Jerome Fisher one they evaluate you for the program first and then if you don’t get in they move you to the undergraduate school you choose i.e. Wharton at least to my knowledge.
@mneal16 So if you apply to Jerome Fisher ED and you dont get in they would evaluate your for Wharton ( ED or RegD)
Yes, when you apply for a dual degree they have you pick one of the two in case you don’t gain admission to the program. This is because the programs have lower acceptance rates than the individual schools (from what I can gather).
I found a more detailed explination of the application process here: http://www.upenn.edu/fisher/apply
@mneal16 Oh I overlooked that portion of the site. Thank you!!!
