1)Does anyone know well their Psychology Program is?
2)What kind of things are their to do in Waco?
3)Are their any safety concerns?

I would like feedback if there’s anything else I should know. Thanks!

Hey Court922,
I am a current student at Baylor, so I thought I would help you out with your questions.

I came to Waco from Los Angeles and I have had no trouble finding things to do. There is no shortage of events on campus to attend, but Waco has 3 movie theatres, lots of restaurants a great park with hiking and biking trails, a lake, a river for kayaking and is right in the middle of Austin and Dallas (about 1.5 hours away from each) if you want to spend some time in a bigger city. Waco is around 250,000 people, so I like the size and it is a great city for a university town.

Like I mentioned in the 2nd question Waco is a mid-size city. I wouldn’t be concerned about safety as long as you make smart decisions just like anywhere else. I am a female and I don’t have a problem walking to my car at night on campus or around my apartment building. Baylor does have its own police department, and the university does have many safety precautions for students on campus as well.

Oh Okay , Thanks ! &No , I haven’t visited the campus. I live in NC
