I was waitlisted and I have 2 questions about it:
1) I am considering deferring admission (wherever I decide for college) to take a gap year and go abroad. I was also waitlisted at Haverford, and in the materials they sent me, they said if I was accepted from the WL, I would not be allowed to defer my admission because the purpose of the WL is to fill up the class. Is this the same for Gtown?
2) I know my chances of getting accepted off the WL are slim to none, but I will probably be coming up to DC to visit GW and American, and since Gtown is one of my first choices, I think I want to visit just in case (I have never seen the campus before). Would they set up an overnight with a current student for me, and do they have tours and info sessions running this time of year, or is everything geared towards admitted students right now?
Thanks in advance for any responses!
