Well, as the title suggested, I plan to bring my own mini fridge to the dorm since theirs is really expensive to rent and I already have one sitting at home doing nothing, for some reasons.

So anyway, I checked online, and figured that they only allow you to have mini-fridge of size no bigger than 6 cu-ft. Here's the problem: by 6 cu-ft do they mean 6 cu-ft for the total volume (calculated by exterior dimension) or 6 cu-ft capacity? Because you know how when you try to purchase a mini-fridge it would give you some number in cubic-feet unit that I believe is the fridge capacity, but when you actualy measure your fridge's exterior (or from the given dimension if the company provide you one) you realize the volume you get is actually a lot bigger. My fridge is about 8 point something cu-ft for the whole thing, but I am pretty sure the capacity is only 4 point something (not sure about the exact number, it's an fridge anyway). So as I was saying, by 6 cu-ft do they mean that your whole fridge cannot exceed 6 cubic feet or the fridge capacity cannote exceed 6 cubic feet? And in case if they want it smaller than 6 cubic feet in total volume, do they really care if your fridge is a little bigger than 6 cubic feet?

There are also other questions about bringing the fridge inside. Basically as far as I know, you get a cart that you unload your stuff in when you move in, and the question is that: is the cart big enough to carry a mini-fridge? If not.. how do you actually move the mini-fridge inside? Also, what will happen to the driver after he parks the car; is the parking area very far away from the dorm? (I am assigned to Rieber Vista) Will he get to come back and help on moving the stuff into the dorm after he parks (since I am bringing in a mini-fridge.. and all the other stuff >_>)?

Any experiences from people who have brought their mini-fridge into the dorm before? =) Thanks ahead for any helps and replies.
