<p>i'm applying for the fall of 2011. On the application, essay #2 is for accelerated placement. is that the honors college? because i'm looking to apply for that.
also, if i do not get admitted into the honors college, will I then be considered for the regular BU program?</p>
<p>also, BU asks for a list of colleges i'm applying to. should i tell them all the colleges i'm applying to? cause if i addMIT and upenn and stuff, it'll look like BU is lower in the list.will that disadvantage my application? can i just type in a few college names?
or is that field not required at all?</p>

<p>What they mean by the accelerated programs is the accelerated dental/physical therapy things that combine undergrad with dental/pt school. I’m pretty sure you automatically get considered for the honors program if you choose the button that says you want to be considered. As for the issue with writing down the other schools you’re applying to I strongly reccomend putting down colleges that are similar to BU in prestige and size.</p>
