This might seem a little naive but I applied to UCLA and selected Business Economics as my intended major even though I had (or so I thought) no chances at UCLA. Well to my surprise I got in! However, I’m not sure if I should switch my intended major in the future…See, I’m currently taking Calculus (not AP) and Statistics and Math 31A and 31B, im assuming, are heavily calculus based. Personally, I am not horrible, but I’m not super good with calculus sigh I know nothing is set on stone major wise, but for the people who are currently in BizEcon @ UCLA or have any knowledge, do you have to be super good at calc to pass the prerequisites at least? Or in the long run? Up to what level of mathematics does someone with a BizEcon major need to cover? Any suggestions as to what classes to sign up for in my first quarter in the Fall and what professors? Any other majors @ UCLA that would allow me to work in a business like environment? A lot of questions, I know. I’m sorry, I’m a stressed out senior!! :(( :(( :((
