<p>Is it okay to use an article that i have written for a non-profit organization's newsletter as my college essay? I just re-read what I wrote and apparently it somehow fits the criteria for like a college essay about an EC. I'm just wondering if being published would make the article unusable as one of my main college essays and/or short essays.</p>
<p>If it accurately portrays who you are and is not strictly formal, then I don’t see why not. Just make sure it isn’t one of those essays you would write for English.</p>
