<p>It's one of those things that we will never know. If you got into Yale, it's possible that the college prediction website said you had a 90% chance, a 50% chance, or a 5% chance. My question to you is, you're asking if websites that predict your chances for admission help you do what? Do you mean to ask if they're accurate? I'd say no, because they only look at objective data, so their methods of deciding on percentage chance of admission are flawed.</p>
<p>dchow08 is right, however, what they may do is give you a ballpark on your objective measures. So if you are way off you know if. But they do not capture the softer stuff.</p>
