Questions about Columbia

i was wondering if anyone could help me out on this:

is financial engineering a completely separate major from the industrial engineering and operations research program. As in, can you major in only financial engineering without the whole operations research and industrial engineering stuff. i'm a bit confused because on columbia's website, financial engineering isn't show as one of their academic programs, and it's only listed under the industrial engineering and operations research program and website.

For the 3-2 program, can you double major? or have a major and a minor? like taking east asian studies at columbia college for your BA degree, and then taking say, chemical engineering AND industrial engineering at SEAS??

financial engineering is a degree within the department of IEOR. IEOR now offers degrees in 4 subjects: IE, OR, Engineering Management Systems, and Financial Eng.

For the 3-2 program, you'll be going crazy just trying to finish one major. All the 3-2s i know (and I know a bunch) are working their tails off because they basically have 2 years to do 3 years worth of work.

how hard/workload amount is financial engineering compared to other engineering concentrations.
and how hard/workload amount is IEOR compared to other sciences/humanities concetrations/majors?
