Questions about courses at Northwestern (McCormick)

Hey all, I was just admitted to NU and have been looking at courses and majors. Biomed engineering has been drawing my attention, and it seems very popular as a pre-med track as well, since I found this delightful little thing: http://www.bme.northwestern.edu/docs/current/undergraduate/BMECurriculum-suggested-pathway-pre-med.pdf
However, I've gotta wonder a few things. First, this course load seems to be full-packed, but it has a bunch of repeats (like this H&SS thing?) and doesn't seem to have space for any of the Theme reqs. If anyone could shed some light on this stuff, as well as on what "Track" means, I'd be much obliged.
In case it matters, I'm asking now because I'm currently in WCAS and am considering a switch to McCormick.

H&SS = Humanities & Social Sciences = Theme requirements.

if you look at the bme website here [Current Undergraduate Students: Biomedical Engineering Department: McCormick School of Engineering: Northwestern University](http://www.bme.northwestern.edu/current/undergraduate/index.html)

you’ll see worksheets for 6 tracks listed under “Catalog Year 2010 Biomedical Engineering Degree Worksheet” as well as their required courses. Tracks are essentially concentrations under the BME major
