Questions about CUNYs

Is it bad to apply to 6 schools on the CUNY application? Like would it decrease the chance to get into the other CUNY schools?

Do all CUNYs accept students in the 400s on the CR of the SATs?

No. Unless you apply to the Macaulay Honors Program, which you are restricted to only one 4-year CUNY school.

Do they? They don’t care what you get. They will accept your application. Some CUNY schools preferred to admit the “good” students. For example, Baruch. Some CUNY schools hand split their general admissions by school / department. For example, City College engineering applications are reviewed by the engineering school and the requirement is a bit tougher.

I’d say just don’t worry about it so much, but don’t just limit to CUNY. SUNY may admit CR at 400s. Stony, Bing they all do, although that group of students are now a bit rare…

I’d say just work on your GPA and the rest of your application. If you have time, go ahead and take another SAT.
