Here is a link I found. Of course it's only an opinion. Please discuss here so we can all gain some more knowledge.

What's to discuss?

Most of it is true, except for the subjective ideas (ie, Revelle GEs being the toughest, Warren students being the fittest -- plenty of exceptions to those generalizations).

ERC does have multi-person rooms (I've seen them myself)

The sixth apartments are fairly secluded (because you have to walk around the canyon, which adds 3 or 4 minutes) but the sixth res halls are only a 2 minute walk from pepper canyon hall, and only a 5 minute walk from both price center and center hall.. so this isn't entirely accurate. Some good information though

its very true...

i agree about sixth college... everyone makes it sound horrible but the location is nice as long as youre not trying to go to revelle... but yeah....

dorms are dorms.... whatever you can deal with it for a year... what really matters are the people that youre living with....

well the last sentence doesn't really make sense since you cannot pick your dorms so eh. he/she does seem a little biased towards muir though AND some colleges don't have enough info.

warren for example is about 5-10 minutes away from price center and geisel. the pool is right around the corner plus there's also rock climbing right there. there's pretty much a lot of walking involved for everybody at ucsd since the campus is so big. personally i don't see what's so great about muir. i've been there, i don't like their res halls, their food is ok, not that much better than CV (warren) or Cafe V (erc). I still haven't eaten at Revelle or 6th yet. OVT is the best out of all of them though. Plus you can enjoy your meal and see the ocean. =]

oh and warren has A LOT of bunnies out and about at night since we're right by the canyon.

anywho price center expansion seems a pretty exciting thing. there's gonna be a lot of new stuff to do AND warren is 5 minutes walk from there. 6th is pretty close too.

Well, you have to admit that muir's location is pretty nice. It's pretty much in the middle, so it's great as long as you're not an engineering major. I don't know about the rest of their food, but if i'm nearby i pretty much always go to sierra summit for the stir-fry and smoothie.

yeah i guess everybody likes different things. i don't like the fact that muir is on the edge and there's houses right across the street. some people like that.

i would looove to see the sunset from my room though so yeah that's pretty tight about muir. =]
I don't mean to bag on muir, it has its good things, like the tennis courts right there, close to center, etc. I'm just not as excited about it as everybody else seems to be. =P
