<p>Hello, I'm an incoming freshman (H&SS). I don't plan on majoring/minoring in a modern language, but I'd like to improve my Spanish. On the placement test, I scored enough to barely place into Intermediate Spanish II. However, I haven't taken Spanish since Spanish 3 in 11th grade, and that was an online course, so I don't even think I learned that much. I'm pretty shaky in it. How intense is this course? I really need a lot of grammar and vocabulary review and I'm wondering if taking it would be a mistake. Would it be better to go into something like Intermediate I, or even try to learn a new language instead? Does anyone have any insights into what this course is like, or any advice? Should I talk to the professor first? Thanks.</p>
