So I got admitted for Spring 2013...

If I go to this FPF, will I still graduate on time? Or will I be late since I'm a spring admit?

Basically my question is: How can I still graduate on time?

According to their website, you will graduate on time as long as you do the FPF program since you earn credits while you’re in it. the thing i don’t understand is what is the difference between fall admissions and FPF program if you earn credits in both? do the difference lie in housing? fees? where does the program even take place?

I believe that the program takes place at the UC Berkeley extension college, but I have no idea on any of the other questions

HMMMM well thanks for answering one. x) Let’s hope more people come and help us.

Hey, i got in spring as well, but their FPF program is literally like going to berkeley for fall anyway, if you read the FAQ and all that jazz, it tells you everything you need to know. But registration is first come first serve, so i just got back from the post office already.

FPF is held on certain buildings on campus. You don’t take classes on campus proper (i.e. the full, main campus) unlike regular admissions students.

Berkeley defers some students to spring admissions technically because some seniors graduate in fall instead of spring, so space is freed up and they can admit spring students. That’s the more official statement, although there have been other more judgmental speculation for spring admits. In any case, FPF is a great program; you earn credits and take classes on campus just like the other students and you can definitely graduate on time (especially if you are taking a single major). You all should definitely apply! (:

Does anyone know if we have to submit the SIR before FPF registration fee? I read their FAQ but am still a bit confused…

Btw, congrats to everyone who was admitted!!

You can submit the FPF registration fee before. I mailed it today! :)

Even if you’re extremely unsure, if there’s any chance at all that you want to do FPF, get it to them by the end of next week. (My dad actually drove it over for me since I thought I was too late)
