Questions about GETTING INTO MIT

Well do LACs' offer any degree in computer sciences, if yes then how do they differ from that of MIT,Yale etc.(Job wise)

LAC's do offer degree in Computer Sciences...the difference between MIT's and LAC's degree is well vast...as MIT's or other tech institutes wont only give you CS in their degree there'd be loads of research work and presumably hardware involved....although if u do you UG at an LAC and want to do MS further then they are also very good...Job wise well at both types of institutes the CS related jobs are same...but at MIT or ivies most CS majors get high paying consultancy jobs and jobs in finance which are veeeeery rarely offered to an LAC student..

Are CS in LAC better then at any NIT in India.

Well pure CS will be better than at an NIT in India...simply due to the reason that pure CS is not offered in India....its just mixture of computer Engineering and Science...so if u want CS then you have to go to a US school

What about computer Engineering in NIT vs CS in LCA. Which will give me better job. Coz i think LCA are very lineint in giving fin. aid.

To anybody who wants to get into ivies and MIT, Stanford and CalTech: assume that you'll be rejected. There's a (much) higher chance you'll get rejected even if you have perfect grades and what not.

The assumption that one will get into at least one of those 11 colleges is completely irrational, groundless and pure ********. The assumption is that you could get rejected from every one of the 11 colleges.

yes i agree ivies have been too random specially in case of intls' seeking aid .(needblind yeah sure) LACS give aid (a little more easily) but so doo top univs but if you can make into top lac then you could sa well try your luck in reputed research univs.
abhishiv thre is definitely going to difference between research univs and LACS in case jobs and education ( at least in case of economics there is)
Its easy JHU or vassar which will be better of engineering?
