Questions about going to a CSU

Hi, so recently I got accepted into the CSU I plan on going to for 4 years. I looked more into how to go into a CSU and found out that you had to take a test called the EPT & ELM test. There are exemptions to not have to take this test, but I’m not sure if I qualify or not. :confused:

I took 2 SAT scores, I got a higher score the first time. Here are the scores I received.
1st time: 1,170 (500 EBRW & 670 MATH)
2nd time: 1,140 (510 EBRW & 630 MATH)

I have a few questions regarding the test.

  1. Do they look at both your SAT scores to see if you get exempt?
  2. Do you think I will get exempted from taking the tests with these current scores?

According to the page, you would be exempt for Math (ELM), but not for English (EPT)

You can also be exempt by passing AP exams.
