Questions about GPA?

Do colleges look at your electives? My teachers are such BS for my electives and they've given me 85s in the class. Does that factor in my GPA?

How do I calculate my GPA? My school has a number system, not a letter. Is a 90 considered to be a 4.00 in the class? Please give some insight!

Electives are generally included in your overall GPA. Sometimes they are weighted less than more challenging courses.

Although overall GPA is important, your grades in electives are less important to college admissions than your grades in core courses.

Converting your grades from a 100 scale to a 4.0 scale is not appropriate if your school never assigns letter grades and never uses a 4.0 scale. Grades generally in the top 10% of your class you are likely getting the equivalent of As. In some international schools, this can be as low as grades in the 70s and on the other end of the spectrum some US high schools give As only for a 94 or higher. So, there is no way we can tell you whether your 90s equate to a 4.0.
