questions about Harvard SSP....opinions of the program please!

Hey! i was wondering if anyone on here has been to harvard ssp or if they know any details about it. I'm really interested in taking a 4 week class this summer. My motivation for going is that I like learning during the summer and want to get a sense of college life. I just had a few questions but also feel free to leave any other comments or stories of the program, i'd love to hear them...please! so here are some of my questions:
1.how long are you actually in class each day?
2.how much homework is there on average every day?
3.if you had to put the work and fun to percentiles....what percent would be fun?
4.are the dorms nice?
5. i'm a rising junior, so are there many others? i heard they were all housed together in a different area...is that bad?
6.what kind of people go to this program? do they really want to be there or are they just enduring it to look good for college? are they niiice?
7. does it actually help you getting into college...it couldn't hurt right?

not especially. harvard couldn't care less if you went, and they take pretty much everyone who can pay ~10,000 dollars for it. it also shows that you have the money to spend on such expenditures, so going there would probably label you as being well off.

Depends on your class. I had very little.

To look good for college or cause they don't hesitate to throw money. But if you look, you will find people with all kinds of interests that you can hang out with. People get really chill being away from home for so long.

It's not a matter of whether you take a course at Harvard or work at the local supermarket. It's a matter of how much you get from it.
