I have a few questions about the university of south Carolina. I got invited to be a capstone scholar, what are the benefits of doing this and should i do it? What are the differences between capstone and Columbia hall (curfews, living conditions...etc). Is mechanical engineering a good program at USC? What internships are there that i can do if i attend? Any engineering for aerospace? Feel free to say anything i may need to know.

In the past these were some of the benefits:

1) Live in Capstone dorm on floors that are set up by majors or schools. This will help you get to know people sooner and help ease the transition into school.

2) Have U 101 class with other Capstones

3) Lectures, movies, social gatherings just for Capstones

Capstone is much nicer. The sinks/counters in Columbia are in a weird place and make arranging the room difficult and also makes the room feel smaller. Rooms in Capstone are large, it has it’s own dining facility which is VERY convenient.
