hi, everyone! i'm an AA and have four legacy connections at princeton (two of which are my parents-undergraduate degrees). i think this tradition of princeton in my family combined with my urm status and geographic location has the potential to make me stand out prodigiously. however, the princeton supplement does not provide a place to list alumni connections. i already have both of my parents' educations outlined in the personal information section of the common app but i wish to indicate my uncles' education histories as well. how can i do that?!

also, are any of you aware of how much a legacy status can affect admission?

Your parents are probably enough:). Good luck. Legacy status doesn’t compensate for lagging stats, but if yours are equal to some other kids, you will be chosen over them.

Hmm that’s really strange, I thought most supplements ask for familial connections. Make sure to look over the supplement to see if you missed anything. Double legacy + URM is a very powerful hook.

If you have two of the following:
-SAT Score > 2100
-GPA > 3.9 unweighted OR class rank in the top 10%
-Strong extracurricular activities (ie: president of a student organization, research experience, captain of a sports team, 7+ years of playing an instrument, or etc.)
