Cool thank you for the info SaveTheManatees

Actually…i have no idea where is the gym u guys have been talking about…where is it???

The gym is located at the East Field House, which is between the East Remote Parking Lot and Cowell (also kinda near the bookstore). You will see it on the right side when driving through the main entrance.

Hey everyone!

Another UCSC student here. I will be a senior in the fall, Business Management Econ major at College Ten. I was also a RA last year and this year I am an intern for the Chancellor’s Office. So, I can also be a resource for answering questions related to extracurricular activities and on-campus jobs.

Please feel free to ask me any questions that you may have!

What are the requirements in order to be accepted to UCSC?!- Just curious…

Anyone know what the room numbers mean? I remember reading somewhere, each number told you what floor, building, etc!

Thanks!

It depends a lot on the college. Sometimes the first number is the floor number, sometimes the first number is the building number (usually if it has 4 digits).

Well, at least in Merrill, the room number “B310” would mean B building, third floor, room 10.

Okay, so… I’m in C10 res. hall 4, and the first two numbers of my room number (which is 4 digits total) are 45**. So I’m on the 5th floor? XD Oh wow.

Quite possibly! C10 has elevators though. :)

Not all of College 10 buildings have elevators </3. I have learned this the hard way for summer. I miss Porter ):

@JulieJuu: It means building 4, floor 5, then the last two digits are your room number. The fifth floor of Building 4 is a half floor, so it will be a closer community. You’ll like it! And lucky you, Building 4 is the building in College Ten with an elevator.

College 9, 13 is the first two digits! RH building 1, and floor 3?

Does anyone know if Building 3 Floor 3 is co-ed?

@The Critic: That is lucky. O_O; Half-floor sounds pretty cool. (:

How many rooms are there in each floor in college 10?

are you required to have a helmet if you have a bike? i’m thinking of taking my bike after thanksgiving break but I don’t have a helmet.

If you’re over 18 you’re not legally required to wear a helmet, but would you really risk a serious brain injury or death in the event of an accident? Get a helmet.

I was just wondering how UCSC’s writing and prelaw programs were in comparison to other UCs. Je t’adore Santa Cruz because I have been vacationing there my entire life, so I was wondering if the program weighs in with the gorgeous atmosphere? :)

There are about 17-18 rooms depending on which building. I was in Building 6 floor 1 and we had 17 rooms I think, mixed with a lot of Doubles and Singles. Triples were at the end of the halls. This equaled to like 30 people a floor?
