Questions about my path to business school:

I'm fairly new here and I've only been navigating the site for the transfer students. However, I think it might be useful to start thinking about my plan of action after undergrad. If some of you could just hear me out, all recommendations are welcome.

Currently, I've been working full time managing an office and a clinic at a well known eye institute and doing my ccc classes part time. Now that I'm done, I've applied to different universities in California to finish my undergrad. My question is how important is the name of the school v. the program? I'm confused right now deciding over SDSU (which I got in for Business major) and UCSB(I didn't get in for my first choice for bizecon but got in for my 2nd choice of communication - which brings me to another question about switching majors later). San Diego State U has a good business program that ranks 71 in the nation (according to USnews) while UCSB is ranked 44 in the nation as a school. My husband and I both listed the pros and the cons for each school, but what left us wondering is the effect of each school towards grad/business school. Any thoughts?

Thank you.

I wouldn't base my decision for undergrad on grad school. What I would be looking at is which school will give me the degree that will give me the best opportunity, education, and network to prove myself as a leader. Then I'd go to that school.
