I’m undeclared in L&S, although my intended major is CS. I’m also interested in MCB/Public Health/Integrative Biology, so I may do one of those if I decide I don’t find CS10 interesting.
Math 1A
2 Breadths courses
CS10
Chem P
No R&C because all of the good ones are are taken
Questions:
- It says Chem P doesn't show up on your transcript. Does this mean that your grade point average won't be affected no matter how poorly/well you do in the class?
- If CS doesn't quite work out and I decide to P/NP CS10, could it be used to fulfill the Physical Sciences breadth requirement for the MCB/Public Health/Integrative Biology majors?
- Would it be possible to drop CS10 and switch to 61A early on if I don't find that the class is helpful?
- What are your favorite breadths courses? I've been looking at Japan 181 and Philosophy 3, but the latter seems to have harsh grading.
