Ok so my school sent out our high school transcripts to all of the going to be seniors so we could check and make sure everything is right. But I'm a little confused about what the colleges see on it. I've moved up in rank from 51 after first semester of freshman year to 28 at the end of junior year. But it only says our final rank, nothing about how much we have moved up. My counselor keeps telling me it's great that I showed an upward trend, but how do the colleges see that? It also has all of the classes we took and the grades we got, and our term g.p.a. Well my g.p.a. goes up each semester and everything, but my term g.p.a. is higher than my over all g.p.a. Is this a bad thing or is this the way it is and I just don't understand how it works? My g.p.a. has imrpoved from a 3.85 freshman year to a 4.4 at the end of junior year, but I don't know how it looks if your sterm g.p.a. is higher than your overall g.p.a. Also, for junior year, for first term my g.p.a. was a 4.66. Then at the end of the second term it was a 4.55. I also moved back one spot in rank, from 27 to 28. However, my overall g.p.a. went up from a 4.3 to a 4.4. So is that going to look bad or is it fine? I'm not applying to any selective schools, so I'm hoping it won't be a problem. Thanks!!
