questions about orientation

1.When do sign up for figs?
2.Will I be able to use the gym?(I hate being away from the gym for a long time)
3. Are we going to be extremely busy the entire days?

FIGS will be while you try to register for classes. I dont know about the gym I guess when you get your student ID since thats how you get in. You wont be EXTREMELY busy but you will be busy. There are several mandatory events you have to go to be allowed to register and there are even more extra events I would reccomend doing, then at night you will be free to go out and do whatever you feel like doing

Can we bring a guest to orientation?

1.) According to this schedule sheet that they give you, you can apply for a FIG during advising; typically Day 2. Notification will be later that day at 5:00pm.
3.) It’s not too bad. There are a few things that are required, with a couple being long presentations, while the rest are optional. Just one big thing I would recommend; learn the map or at least how to read it. Not all the streets will say what street you’re on if you’re following the map they give you, so at least learn how to recognize buildings. It’ll be a lot less hectic.

Every registered student receives a nametag. I know the nametags were checked prior to going to the BBQ, so there may be an issue with attending the sessions.

I’m pretty sure you can use the gym. Most of the meetings are optional, so you are as busy as you want to be. It would be pretty easy to bring a guest with you to the meetings.
