Questions about PittStart and scheduling classes

<p>Hey, I'm going to Pitt in the fall and am majoring in comp sci. Anyways, I was a little late in signing up for PittStart and the earliest session I could get was July 16-17. Since classes are scheduled during PittStart, will many of the classes be full considering there are like 6-8 previous sessions? I am currently constructing the "Wish list of 10 courses" that we need to fill out and was wondering whether I should also write down a list of alternate classes for each in case some are full.</p>

<p>Also, is there some place online through Pitt that I would be able to check that shows if classes are full/how many slots are left? It would be handy to be able to check right before I leave for PittStart to see which classes I should have alternatives for.</p>

<p>Each PittStart session has some spots reserved, so you will have some choices. Once you are a student, you will be able to check classes, but I do not know whether you can now or not.</p>
