Questions about PPE program

<p>So in the case I don’t get into Ross (I’m a freshman), my backup plan is PPE. I have a couple questions about the program.</p>

<ol>
<li><p>How competitive is it? There is an application but it seems pretty minimal. Is the only thing they look at is GPA?</p></li>
<li><p>Are there any job statistics for the major at UMich? I understand it’s pretty new so there might not be any so in that case, what is the most commonly field PPE majors go into? I’d like to go into business (perhaps consulting?) and want a major that still allows me to do that w/o Ross. Or find a job for that matter...</p></li>
<li><p>I’m on the right track, right? By the end of freshman year I will have completed: Econ 101 & 102, English 125 & 225, Polsci 101, and Phil 160 355 & 366</p></li>
