Questions about random college stuff

<p>Ok I was wondering about this for a long time, k from what I know, after you send your SAT results and application forms and dah da dida, well you should get a response from your colleges somewhere in the Spring term. So up to when do you have to make your choices? </p>

<p>Because in the UK, you need to decide an insurance/firm choice around April and you have to go to the firm choice if you have the grades. Our CA told us that by deciding a F/I choice we sort of sign a contract and agree to go to that institution should we get the grades. If you don't as it is a conditional offer most likely you won't be accepted. K so the dilemna is, if I say I'll go to so and so university in the States, and do the same thing in the UK, I could maybe end up not going to either. </p>

<p>The national reply date is May 1. You should have made a deposit to one university in the States by then.
I don't know about universities in the UK, but German universities would let me enroll even if they knew that I had sent a deposit to an American university. On the other hand, can you withdraw your decision to attend a British university in order to attend an American one?</p>
