I have a few questions about business school...

Do I apply directly to the business school or do I apply to another department, like College of Arts and Sciences and then transfer in later?

Also, if I do transfer in later from the College of Arts and Sciences, can I still apply to the Honors Program there? If not, does Rutgers Business School have an Honors Program?

getting into rutgers business school as a freshman is tough.
however, you can apply to SAS as a freshman and transfer later. however, you have to fufill certain courses and requirements in order to transfer. additionally, it is alot tougher.

Thanks adchen124, that clears a few things up.

I was trying to ask whether I can apply for the honors program at SAS. Then If I do get accepted to the Honors Program, when I transfer to the Business school do I keep my status as a Honors Program Student or do I lose it?

I was just wondering because I do not want to apply to the Honors Program, if it doesn't matter anymore once I transfer to the business school?

well to get into the honors program at SAS, here are the requirements. College Honors Programs Selection Criteria if you do not fufill the requirements, you will have to submit another application which is somewhere on the website.

You can still be an honors student in RBS as long as you fulfill your honors requirements, which may just be more difficult to do once you're in RBS.

Congratulations regardless! From what I hear, being accepted to RBS as a freshman is quite an accomplishment. Plus, you can always apply to the honors program once you're at Rutgers if you really want to do it.

I got into RBS as a freshman. When you are a freshman, you are in SAS. Then, so they say, as a sophomore, you will be automatically put into RBS, keeping your honors status.

However, they automatically put me into RBS when I first got here, and forgot to transfer my scholarship back to SAS when I figured out I wasn't in sas anymore. it was a mess.

But, anyway, that is how the whole process works.

I applied to NB business and engineering...but I haven't gotten into the honors program yet...should I expect a letter about that soon? I got in last Wednesday to both schools.
