Questions about Score Reporting to Colleges

Hello, I am a high school student going into my senior year in the fall. so I recently received my ACT scores from when I took the test in April. When I took the test, I thought the option of sending free score reports to the colleges of my choice was a good thing to take advantage of so I did it. However, when I got my scores back, I realized that I did not do as well as I would have liked and I am now regretting sending those score reports. I am going to take the ACT again in September and I have some concerns:

-How does this score report fit in when I go to apply to these colleges in the fall? Will the scores be added to my application file automatically or do I have to acknowledge that I those scores were mine?
-If I send a score report again in September, will colleges look at the better score of the two tests I took?

If you already sent them, the schools have them on file. That cannot be undone.

Schools will consider the higher of the two for the most part.
