Questions about senior grades for UCs

Does it matter what our grades/gpa is during the grading periods? (progress reports) If we got accepted into a UC, I heard we have to maintain a 3.0 unweighted gpa with no D's or F's..is this true? I'm assuming it's for the semester grades so progress reports don't matter?

Is there any chance that UCB or UCLA would reject me after initially accepting me if I have C's but still have a 3.0~ unweighted gpa?

I received a D+ in AP Phyiscs this past semester. UCSB told me that it was alright as long as I have at least a 3.0 GPA.

I was under the impression that UCB & UCLA, and any of the other UCs give you an acceptance, subject to final verification of your transcript after graduating. I believe they receive your file end of June, and they reserve the right to rescend their offer should your GPA fall below the 3.0 level. I do not know if that means you can get a D in one class, and As/Bs in the rest....

do you have to obtain a 3.0 in your 2nd sem? i got like a 2.8 in my 1st sem. but im guaranteed to get at least a 3.0 2nd sem.
im talking about uc's btw
