<p>For people who have done SOHOP what happens and what is it like?</p>
<p>Random question: Is there a dress code/a certain way prospective students should dress at SOHOP?</p>
<p>Another specific question, what are the sleeping arrangements?</p>
<p>SOHOP is brand new this year. There was an overnight program last year (and previous years?) but Hopkins is changing it around to be much nicer this year.</p>
<p>There is no dress code, but I advise you not to wear other college’s apparel… haha.</p>
<p>You will spend the night with a current student. So, you will sleep in their room. In their bed if you would like, or on the floor.</p>
<p>I’m guessing they’ll give you list of what to bring, but if not, I would bring a sleeping bag, a towel and whatever overnight stuff you need. Dress will probably be casual for the first day/evening, but it wouldn’t hurt to throw a polo shirt or something (if you’re a guy; i have no idea what the equivalent is for girls) for the open house since you’ll be meeting faculty members at the department presentations</p>
