<p>I have been thinking about rushing if I attend alabama next fall. I was wondering if it is really as hard to get a bid as I have heard. Also, what sororities have the classiest reputations? I’m not that into partying and a close sisterhood would be really important to me.</p>

<p>If you have the grades (3.0 or above) and activities, and not determined to accept one of only a few houses, it is not that hard to get a bid. You can find other websites that purport to tell you a chapter reputation. But really each sorority has exceptional, outstanding women and ordinary women, campus beauties and everyday girls, Bible studiers and hard partiers.
No sorority is all one or the other.
What you do, is look for your future best friends - not a social standing.</p>
