I heard you can take community college classes and get it counted towards your gpa even if your school wont take it. Do they average the grades or just replace them? Anyone know where I can take a mini LSAT diagnostics test online preferably? I found one at west.net but idk if its credible.

The CC grades will be averaged with all of your other grades.

it is avg-ed in a different manner from your university gpa

All college grades are averaged together to comprise your "LSDAS" GPA. Your "degree GPA" also appears on your academic summary report from LSAC, and reflects your grades from your degree granting institution. The former is more important, but it might look weird if there's a huge discrepancy.

You can take the June 2006 LSAT as a diagnostic from the LSAC site. It isn't "mini," though. You could only do one LR section to make it more mini, I guess. You should make sure you're taking real LSATs when searching around for a diagnostic online.

So would it be worth my time to take a cc class? I was hoping to make up some C's that I got due to an illness, and I dont want to be away from home over the summer taking them at my school. I thought itd be easier to retake the classes at home so long as they look at the grades the same. If law schools (USC, UCLA, Emory) dont just straight up add the cc into my law gpa then its not worth it right?
