Questions about subject tests

I have some questions about Georgetown’s SAT subject tests policies. I understand that they"strongly recommend" three subject tests, but I’ve only taken two. The website also says that not having all three won’t count against an applicant in the early action round, but it’s unclear if this is also true for the regular decision round, as they are “recommended” and not actually “required”. How important is it really to have all three tests?

Additionally, my school only offers the SAT & subject tests in June and is the only one in my district to offer it at all. The only schools that offer subject tests in the fall in my area are 45 mins to an hour away. Does Georgetown take into account the accessibility of these tests for some people?

Lastly, do they accept the December testing date for regular admission? I’ve heard that in the past that they’ve accepted up until the January testing date, but obviously, there isn’t one this year.

Just want to know what my best option is! Thanks!

The reason why they’re strongly recommended is because of accessibility and costs. Obviously taking 3 is a better option, but if you can’t, explain that to them and they’ll understand. With college admissions being as random as it is though, I would say that anything that gives you an edge should be pursued, including that extra test.
